A community rich in arts, culture, entertainment and adventure ... check out these "originals" - unique to the Windermere Valley!

Pynelogs Cultural Centre
The 90-year-old log building is an old historic home on the banks of Lake Windermere that has emerged as a unique Art Gallery and Cultural Centre with the careful guidance of the CV Arts (Columbia Valley Arts Council).

Completed as a home in 1914, and having enjoyed a proud history, the newly restored Pynelogs is now an important part of the community, dedicated to the enrichment and enjoyment of the Columbia Valley residents and seasonal visitors.

Pynelogs Cultural Centre features a gallery and exhibits of local artists and artisan.  There is also a gift shop and the Pynelogs Cafe, which has a beautiful patio overlooking the shores of Lake Windermere!

Ice Fishing Derby January 29, 2005

Walking on Water!

So ....

You know that favourite spot that you drive over
to in the boat...

That favourite wakeboarding spot in the lake where the water's just right and where the kids got up on the wakeboard for the first time  ....

Well,  you can still view the shoreline from the exact same spot in the Winter!  The Ice Fishing Derby will take you right there, but in the truck, not the boat!

So don't miss it next year!

 It's part of the
Valley Experience!

Come back soon to see more!
